Flash Persian (S)

  • Soft seeded annual clover
  • Early maturing
  • Suitable for silage and hay production
  • Tolerant of water logged soils

A new variety selected from Australian adapted early maturing persian clovers. Flash is early maturing but is plastic in its maturity depending on soil moisture conditions. It is erect in its growth making it suitable for silage and hay production. Trials and on farm evaluation sites to date show Flash to be a very promising annual legume due to its excellent regrowth capabilities. Flash will be of extra benefit when used in rotation with crops for nitrogen input, disease break as well as producing high quality pasture feed and hay. Flash can be sown in areas ranging from 400mm+ rainfall. It is also tolerant of waterlogged soils. Unfortunately limited stocks will be available in its first year of release.

Sowing Rates: 6-10kg/ha alone 2-3kg/ha in mix.
